Artist's Statement

My core theme explores some new perspectives on how to define our identities. And try to achieve identity freedom from relationships between humans and natural creatures. My work often captures a moment in the dynamic world, blurring the attributes of the self, and trying to combine my own perceptions and memories into unusual images and emotions connected to the attributes of natural life. I hope to prompt the viewer to rethink their perceptions of themselves and to evoke their most sincere humanity.

I enjoy images that are full of the unknown and the familiar, which allow me to think more broadly and resonate with the deepest part of my heart. The characters that often appear in my works are often of indescribable races or genders, as they symbolize the mystery of life or identity in the real world. My work often speaks of "escape", of escaping from the circle of the confined world.

My artworks often appear as groups of paintings that are interconnected with each other tightly. In addition to the paintings, I also incorporate sculptures in ceramics, often reproducing the objects in my images. The presence of three-dimensional works not only enriches the visual senses but also echoes the content of my images, making the subject of the work fuller in a space.
